WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR FIRST COUNSELLING SESSION?

It is natural to feel nervous the first time you come for counselling and that is OK. This is your opportunity to get to know me and for me to understand a little about you.
The main purpose of this session is for us to see if we can work together. If we are both happy, we can then set a regular time and day to meet. There is no charge for this first session.
Please remember that in this first meeting and subsequent sessions you set the pace. When you are comfortable you will be able to talk more openly and freely.
